01 /SET UP A FAIR RACE

Choose the contest before comparing scores

  1. 01

    Choose Team or Scale

Leaderboards and contests need Team or Scale and start switched off. Decide how a points race fits your team’s work.

  2. 02

    Choose who takes part

Owners manage company contests. Eligible managers manage their team contests. Pick a supported period and explain which work you’re comparing.

  3. 03

    Look behind the score

Compare points, sales, meetings or conversations. At check-ins, ask what moved deals forward as well as who has the highest score.

02 /THE BATON PASS

Credit the setter and closer

A qualifying handoff credits both the rep who set it up and the closer. Recognise the work that made the final conversation possible.

Amira passes a landscaping deal to Noah in this made-up Ottawa example. If the handoff qualifies and Noah closes it, both earn credit.

Keep your pipeline current so the next rep knows what to do. Open the deal record to discuss the prospect’s needs.

03 /WHAT EARNS POINTS

Recognise progress through the sale

01

Calls and conversations

Logged calls and conversations can earn points. Default scoring counts at most forty calls per day. Discuss what happened to judge how useful a conversation was.

02

Replies and meetings

Replies, booked meetings and held meetings earn points. Replies are deduplicated and automatic replies excluded. Booking and holding a meeting are separate steps forward.

03

Proposals, wins and assists

Proposals, wins and qualifying handoff assists earn points. Results depend on recorded events and contest settings. The race pictured here is a made-up example.

04 /TEAMS AND MANAGERS

Keep contests within the right team

Team and Scale include teams, managers and access controls. Each member belongs to one team; a manager can lead several.

Managers handle lead assignments, tasks and handoffs for their teams. Revenue rules still control deal values, and owners can restrict sales sharing.

Noah’s next task is calling Pinebank Garden Works in Ottawa. It should explain why he’s calling, even while a contest runs alongside the work.

05 /OWNER CONTROLS

Preview access with View as

Only the account owner can use View as to preview another teammate’s app. Managers can act for their teams without this preview.

Owners can turn selected menu pages off per person. Today and personal settings stay available.

Page controls, revenue rules and lead permissions do different jobs. Hiding a page doesn’t close every route to its records.

See pricing for included people and features. Read about local sales teams for help organising the work around a contest.

Give progress a place in the score

Use Team or Scale for leaderboards, contests and managers. Explain the scoring before starting a defined contest.

QUESTIONS

Good to know

Q1

Which plans include the sales leaderboard?

Team and Scale include leaderboards and contests. Free and Starter do not. The leaderboard starts switched off.

Q2

Who can create a contest?

Owners manage company contests. Eligible managers manage contests for the teams they lead.

Q3

Can someone earn points just by logging calls all day?

Default scoring counts at most forty calls per day. Automatic replies are excluded and the same reply cannot count twice.

Q4

How does credit work when one rep hands a deal to another?

A qualifying handoff gives credit to both setter and closer. Assist credit sits alongside the win.

Q5

Can all reps see everyone’s deal values?

Revenue access rules still apply. Owners can restrict sales sharing; joining a leaderboard doesn’t remove those controls.

Q6

Can a manager use View as?

Only the owner can use View as. Managers can act for their team members within their permissions.
